After living in the third world for the last four years, I can assure you this test is valid. If members of a society never learn to treat each other well, we cannot expect them to come into our societies (of the West) and treat us well. And this is an obvious test; there are less flagrant attitudes and behaviors. If high-caste Indians look down on all other Indians, they will undoubtedly look down on you as well. After all, you are not even Indian, much less Brahmin.
